AfriBOP 2022, Malawi

CIBITH scientists including Dr. Nkemngo Francis and PhD candidate, Eric Demanou were awarded full bursary by the course organizers to support their participation at the African Immunobiology of Parasites, Pathogens, and Pathogenesis (AfriBOP) course in Blantyre, Malawi (November 2022). The 2-weeks course comprised of lectures focused on grant writing, immunology, parasitology, and public engagement from a diverse panel of international faculties including Henry Mwadumba, Clive Gray, Matthias Marti, Paul Garside etc followed by practical laboratory session on basics of PBMC isolation, flow cytometry and flow jo analysis. The course provided a forum for scientific networking and career development.
